Wow - its been a while since I was here. And how things change but remain the same.

I have spent the last couple of years changing my life dramatically. Leaving the City, where I had worked at the coal face of investment banking compliance for over a decade, taking over a business, becoming an "entrepreneur" (yes Sir Alan Sugar that is actually a job title) and setting up a website selling luxury sex toys & bedroom accessories. Yes - you read that right. Sex Toys.

People often ask why I went from investment banking to selling luxury pleasure products. I like to joke that I spent over 10 years working with w*nkers so I knew my market - but the reality is I felt the desire to break out of the shackles of employment and to do that I had to be so bold that I could never really go back.

So how does this link in to my blog? Well the blog was always an outlet for me to write about my love of beautiful things - things that sparked joy in me. Pleasures if you will. Without guilt. And I feel a pull to write about things that delight me. So I'm back.

The blog might not just be about make up anymore (who am I kidding that will be a fairly large segment) but all the fabulous, luxurious and decadent pleasures of life. Fine foods, delectable cocktails, fashion, London (my home city), my love of vertiginous heels and maybe some naughty treats too - who knows ;) The things that make my heart sing and bring joy and satisfaction. I look forward to having you along for the ride...
